Boy Scouts & Sex Abuse & Homosexuality....

Not sure what to do with the fact the BSA will be releasing Child Sex Abuse Files this week. The message that "Pedophilia is 'OK', but Homosexuality is 'BAD'" just doesn't seem right to me. Now, I am NOT saying that Boy Scouts of America are actually saying pedophilia behavior is "OK;" however, they make it clear there can't be loving/committed 2-Dad or 2-Mom leaders involved in Scouting Ministries. It seems to me the harm done to the boys by these sexual predators is far more tragic and outweighs the values that would come from showing young boys - in formative years - that you can have good stable homes with same-sex parents. Sexual deviation can exist in many forms - there are unhealthy heterosexual behaviors among consenting adults; there are unhealthy homosexual behaviors among consenting adults; any sexual behavior of a child when also involving an adult is unhealthy. The fact the BSA covered-up decades of abuse, speaks volumes about it as an organization.
