Things Change...Things Begin...

There is nothing more I would like than to offer a weekly writing, at the very least.  I am contemplating putting sermon thoughts on here and as Congress Street Church experiences much change, I too, want this blog to become a more active part of that community - in expressing thoughts, sharing news and developing a community of participation with your ideas, passions and interests leading the way!

Tomorrow, I will be doing a first for me.  Perhaps, a first for Congress Street - although I couldn't say with certainty.  Worship tomorrow will not include a sermon.  Instead, I will be delivering the State of the Church Address (stunning idea for a Church named Congress, don't you think?).

I will post that "address" here tomorrow afternoon. If you have comments to make on it and were unable to attend Worship this morning, please feel free to comment on it.  If you stumble across this blog and have no idea about this church, please feel welcomed to enter into the dialogue here.

At this point, I'm not tipping any part of my hat.  So, I hope to see you at Congress Street Church (2010 Congress Street; Lafayette, IN 47905) tomorrow at 10:15 a.m.  I hope you will participate.  This is an opportunity of fresh starting for everyone.....For Congress Street United Methodist Church....For the people that have a history with the Church....For people looking for the Divine....For people embarking in a new spiritual journey.

A Place for You...
             awaits....YOU!
